      The winner of the medal design competition for the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Gangwon 2024, Dante Akira Uwai, has been presented with a commemorative set of gold, silver and bronze medals by IOC President Thomas Bach on the eve of the Games. President Bach complimented the Brazilian for his work ‘A Sparkling Future', which Uwai had entered in the design competition. He was overwhelmed with joy when told his design had been chosen from 3,000 submissions.
