The first ski jumping medals of the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024 have been won at the Alpensia Ski Jumping Centre. 17-year-old Slovenian Taja Bodlaj took gold in the women’s normal hill individual, while the men’s normal hill individual was won in a dramatic finale by Ilya Mizernykh of Kazakhstan. His gold was the country’s first ever YOG ski jumping medal.
