Team GB won gold in the Mixed Team Curling at the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024 after coming from 4-1 down to beat Denmark 7-5 in a nerve wracking finish at the Gangneung Curling Centre. Denmark looked to be in control of a gripping final where they took a hefty haul of four points in the second end, but the British quartet worked their way back into the lead. The final entered an extra end when Denmark drew level at five points apiece, but Team GB’s Tia Laurie (17-years-old), Holly Burke (16), Archie Hyslop (16) and skipper Logan Carson (16), all from Scotland, held their nerve to strike gold in the extra end.
