Description
Two-time individual gold medalist Maja Waroschitz and Florian Neumayer took Austria to glory in the Mixed Team Parallel, the final Alpine Skiing event of the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024. Waroschitz and Neumayer beat Sweden in the Big Final to win gold having already overcome Japan, Germany and the USA. Bronze went to Finland, who beat the USA in the Small Final at the High 1 Ski Resort in Jeongseon. The format featured 16 teams, with a male and female skiers representing each National Olympic Committee (NOC). The teams competed in head-to-head slalom races, with the lowest combined time advancing and the other team eliminated.
