      Republic of Korea snowboarder Lee Chaeun won his second gold on a glorious final day for the host nation at Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, while young boarders from Japan finished one-two in the women’s halfpipe. 17-year-old Chaeun added the halfpipe title to the slopestyle gold he won at Gangwon 2024 a week ago, producing the two best runs of the competition. His second run of 88.50 was his best Alessandro Barbieri (USA) took silver thanks to his final run of 84.75 and Ryusei Yamada (JPN) finished in bronze medal position with 83.00.
