The Olympic Qualifier Series resumes in Budapest, Hungary, from June 20 to 23.
This two-part festival-style series, which began in Shanghai, China last month, will determine which athletes will secure quota places for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 across four new urban sports and disciplines on the Olympic program.
The Olympic Qualifier Series serves as the ultimate qualification stage for Paris 2024 athletes in BMX freestyle, breaking, skateboarding, and sport climbing.
The event celebrates both sport and culture, combining music, fashion, and art to create an immersive festival experience.
Budapest represents the final opportunity for athletes to secure their quota places in this year’s Olympic Games, with over half of the qualification slots in these four sports allocated through the series.
In total, over 150 quota places for Paris 2024 will be allocated following the Series in accordance with the relevant qualification systems.
In alignment with the Olympic Agenda’s goal of achieving full gender parity, the Olympic Qualifier Series features an equal number of male and female athletes, complementing the 50:50 gender balance on the field of play at Paris 2024.
