The Olympic Qualifier Series event is underway in Budapest giving urban athletes a final chance to qualify for Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Over 450 athletes from more than 120 National Federations are competing in breaking, BMX freestyle, skateboarding and sport climbing. The four days in Budapest will decide which 150 athletes across the four sports qualify for Paris next month.
IOC President Thomas Bach is in the Hungarian capital for the festival-like event, in which entry to the public is free, and 10,000 spectators daily can enjoy the mix of sport, music and culture, with the public invited to get involved and try new sports.
