      The IOC offers the following Video News Release to all news agencies, broadcasters and online news platforms free of charge. A blanket finish in the Women’s Cross-Country Free Final at the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) resulted in home favourite Siri Wigger celebrating gold. The 16-year old from Gibswil just held off her Swedish rivals in the sprint for the line. She won over the two lap 1,800m course in the Vallée de Joux Cross-Country Centre on the Swiss-Franco border in a time of 4 minutes 39.95 seconds. Maerta Rosenber of Sweden was just 0.77 seconds as she won silver. Sweden’s Tove Ericcsson won bronze 1.15 seconds behind the winner.
