STORY SCRIPT: Athletes at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be virtually supported in venues by fans from around the world, with advanced technology used by Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS). “There’s no international spectators here, but efforts are being made so that people feel part of the Games from their own homes, one of the things that has always made the Olympic Games very special” explains OBS Chief Executive Officer Yiannis Exarchos. “Followers and fans from all over the world will also be able to have a sense of presence in the stadium, not just by watching the Games but also by being able to post reactions, their cheers, their videos, and this will make it all the way into the competition venues.”
