Jonas Chollet (FRA) and Noemie Wiedmer (SUI) won the snowboard cross gold medals at the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Gangwon 2024 on the day Brazil celebrated its first ever Winter YOG medal thanks to Zion Bethonico’s bronze. Chollet, the youngest competitor in the Big Final, led for most of the race to finish clear of Anthony Shelly (CAN). Bethonico (BRA) beat Boden Gerry (USA) to a historic third place
