China dominated day two of the Short Track Speed Skating at Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Gangwon 2024. They won both gold medals on offer in the 1000m events - Li Jinzhi winning the women’s race in a close finish over compatriot Yang Jingru. In a race that was twice restarted, her victory margin was less than 0.2 of a second in a reverse of the result of the 1500m event on day one at the Gangneung Ice Arena. Polina Omelchuk (KAZ) took bronze.
