France’s Nash Huot-Marchand has won gold in the Giant Slalom at the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, as British teenager Zak Carrick-Smith continued to make Olympic history for his country in alpine skiing with a silver. 17-year-old Huot-Marchand was consistently fast on both runs, and clinched the gold when last-man-out Liam Liljenborg of Sweden crashed out on his final run just a few gates from the finish.
