Austria’s 15-year-old snowboarder Hanna Karrer has won slopestyle gold at the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Gangwon 2024. Karrer’s winning score of 89.00 came from her second run of three. But there was drama right to the end as 2023 World Champion Lucia Georgalli (NZL) almost snatched victory with her final run of 88.25. Vanessa Volopichova (CZE) was third with a best of 87.00.
