Description
The morning after winning gold at the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Gangwon 2024, the smile on the faces of Ambre Perrier Gianesini and Samuel Blanc Klaperman was still very much in evidence… and it was not just to celebrate Perrier Gianesini’s 17th birthday. The French pair dominated the ice dance competition and won the hearts of the spectators with their smiles. Perrier Gianesini, in particular, is a bubbly character with a smile to match her talent. Perrier Gianesini’s positive and enthusiastic nature is a good source of energy for the pair, who have been skating together for the last three years. “Ambre is happy all the time and smiling,” Blanc Klaperman said. They were inspired by Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, the Team France ice dancers who won silver at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.
