Great Britain’s formidable curlers have won their second straight gold at the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, the last medal event of the Games in Korea. The pair of Callie Soutar, 15, and 16-year-old Ethan Brewster beat Denmark 7-6 to win the mixed doubles at the Gangneung Curling Centre. They seized control of the final on the fifth of eight ends by scoring three points to move into the lead. The young British pair had beaten Sweden 6-5 in the semi-final earlier on the final day of competition. The USA won the bronze medal match, beating Sweden 7-4.
